KYC & Compliance Policy
Kickstar will set up a department for compliance and other legal issues. The company also carries out the necessary procedures for the establishment of entities in countries that are friendly to blockchain technology, services, and service delivery industries.
KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance ensures every Kickstar user is identified and age verified before allowing the use of any services, eliminating underage users from using services that require age from Kickstar
Kickstar's system maintains comprehensive audit trails that provide full transparency.
The following are the reasons for doing KYC or customer due diligence:
• Confident that customers are true to what they say
• Create fairness for customers and other users
• To determine if a customer is acting on behalf of someone else
• To protect our company from being used for fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activity
1. Identification
First and foremost, Kickstar will collect the most basic information that any user must have, including:

Full Name of the registrant
Title
Website
Service Provision List
Email Address
Country
Project Documents
2. Identity Documents
For users who operate as sellers or buyers on the Kickstar Service Platform or on any product within the Kickstar ecosystem, providing the following information on their personal/business profile will be a significant advantage:
ID Card/Citizenship Card
Passport
License (optional)
Phone Number
Company Registration Number (optional)
Capacity Profile (optional)
These details will be verified by identity recognition technology widely applied on many reputable platforms. Providing complete information will enable Kickstar to prioritize the approval of user profiles and boost the process of KYC & Verification (see more in section 4.4). For the information marked as optional, if users agree to provide them, the Kickstar system will add a significant amount of points and speed up the upgrading process of these users.
3. Qualifications and 3rd-Partyuser Profiles Verification
Qualification refers to the documents related to a user's business, including but not limited to the following types of documents:
Business registration certificate
Capacity Profile
List of company members
Power of attorney (if the applicant is not the legal representative of the company)
Business reports for previous years
Activity reports with third-party companies/projects (with signature/stamp confirmation from the third-party company/project)
Others
Kickstar does not require businesses or organizations operating on the Kickstar Service Platform to provide the above documents. However, providing valid documents is a prerequisite for us to help them accelerate the process of achieving high KYC levels on the system and include their accounts on the priority list for ongoing review and support throughout the operation process. Support requests such as refunds, service replacements, dispute resolution, and withdrawals are all resolved quickly by Kickstar within one business day (if no issues arise).
4. KYC & Verification Rank Up
As an ecosystem project built on blockchain technology, Kickstar places a special emphasis on enriching features related to user verification. We even apply a hierarchical system for the KYC and verification process, where for each level of KYC achieved, users will unlock and enjoy significant benefits throughout their use or provision of services on Kickstar.
We have divided this feature into 4 levels with increasing difficulty scores from 1 to 4, where level 4 is the highest and will be fully audited by Kickstar through a number of special criteria.
4..1 Level 1: Personal Information
At this level of access, users on our platform must provide and verify their accounts with basic information such as their Email, phone number, and personal documents (ID, passport, qualification, certificate, etc.). While this process is straightforward, it is also a critical step that ensures our users can safely and efficiently use products within Kickstar's ecosystem, especially our Kickstar Service Platform.
Please note that Kickstar's KYC and Verification system is developed and programmed using the most effective technologies on the market. As such, fraudulent behavior during the information and document provision process will be quickly identified, and any account involved in such behavior will be permanently locked unless an explanation is provided to our email address within 48 hours of receiving the temporary lock notification. Additionally, indefinitely banned accounts will be included in our Blacklist on our homepage, which all reputable users can access to identify and prevent them.
For successful KYC and verified registered accounts, we will award a specific number of points that enable them to initiate the process of upgrading their account's reputation level and accessing additional features in our ecosystem. Moreover, such accounts can connect with reputable individuals and organizations at their level, resulting in a more robust and collaborative community.
4.2 Level 2: Internal Verification
Make the following paragraphs better, more business-like, and more professional: After obtaining a certain amount of points through successful KYC and Verification, users will need to actively engage in various activities to earn points in order to reach Level 2. Depending on their role on the platform (Buyer/Seller), our users will earn points through the following main methods:
Service provider: Users who provide services and receive positive reviews upon completion will be awarded a certain amount of points.
Service user: Users who use services and receive positive reviews upon completion will be awarded a certain amount of points.
Wishlist: Users who are added to others' wishlists will be awarded a certain amount of points (limited to a certain number of times per day).
Frequent Online: Users who are online and check in for a long period of time will earn active points.
Red Flag: Users who discover and report individuals who provide poor-quality services or engage in fraudulent behavior that affects other users will be awarded a certain amount of points (limited to a certain number of times per day).
Bounty: Users who discover platform bugs and report them to Kickstar will receive a large number of points, and may even be eligible for bonuses and rewards in special forms if they provide solutions that are successfully implemented.
Kickstar refers to this phase as points farming, where our users must demonstrate the value they can contribute to other users and to the Kickstar ecosystem. To promote the process, we will also organize surprise point-earning events so that users can take advantage of these rare opportunities to quickly increase their personal or organizational credibility.
Users should also be aware that each activity will yield different point values. In addition, the points earned from activities at Level 2 and above will be counted towards users' rankings, creating conditions for them to compete for higher positions each month and receive special rewards from Kickstar.
4.3 Level 3: External Verification
Kickstar is currently in the development and implementation of Phase 3, which we consider to be the most challenging stage yet. While we will continue to employ the point-receiving mechanism outlined in Verification Level 2, the number of points awarded per activity will now be reduced, and the experience threshold will be lengthened to achieve Level 4 status.
To recognize and reward our users' efforts, we are prioritizing the allocation of more points to those who submit verifiable reports from reputable third-party organizations operating outside of our ecosystem, including backers, partners, communities, and other reputable entities that have collaborated with users. The credibility of third-party organizations will play a significant role in determining the number of points awarded.
Furthermore, we will list reputable entities that support verification reports outside of Kickstar on our system's list of credible entities. Whenever such entities decide to join Kickstar, their accounts will be immediately upgraded to level 2 upon confirming the necessary personal documents at level 1, with half the required points before reaching level 3.
As a Level 3 user, you will be invited to participate in events alongside reputable entities, investors, and potential funds. These events will feature exciting activities that offer users more opportunities to earn points and progress toward Level 4 status.
4.4 Kickstar Exclusive Verification & Fully Verified
Level 4 is the final stage for users to achieve the fully verified certification. At this point, we prioritize earning points for users who contribute to improving quality and value. Activities include:
Being online every day of the month.
Completing services on time and receiving 5 stars.
Completing payments on time and receiving 5 stars.
Introducing users to the platform and receiving payment bonuses.
Introducing services of other users outside the platform and receiving payment bonuses.
Introducing links to request services from other users outside the platform and receive payment bonuses.
Users who are referred reach the payment milestones on the platform.
Using other major products of Kickstar: Launchpad.
Owning one of Kickstar's 3 NFT collections.
At this stage, we limit the number of points received from activities belonging to lower levels. However, activities belonging to those levels will still contribute a certain amount of points (unchanged between KYC levels) to the user's ranking process.
Additionally, Level 4 users will be provided with hidden services or offer from trustworthy users of the same or higher level or from a high-end reputable entity outside the Kickstar ecosystem. Completing, paying for, or receiving payment from these hidden deals will greatly contribute to the verification process.
Level 4 users will also receive special benefits like those of Level 3 but with higher value and privileges. Additionally, their service frames or service request frames will be changed to have a more high-end and reputable interface. The list of Level 4 users will also be placed in convenient positions on the platform to give them the best experience while using it.
After reaching the necessary number of points, they will be placed in the Kickstar Verified section. This will be the section featured in the best position and with the highest ROI rate on the Kickstar Service Platform. Furthermore, we will assign a Business Account to support and resolve any necessary issues they may encounter. In addition, special requests such as refunds will be given priority at this level so they will not face any financial shortage-related issues affecting their business operations.
